Stephanie Sutherland

The main protagonist of the series. A Lieutenant Commander in the Eumarian military and a very skilled strikecraft pilot, Stephanie is on her first big assignment onboard the Supremacy as a newly recruited member of the Galahad Initiative, a classified project to develop a team of Pillar mechs to battle the Revenant. Using her newly acquired Warwolf AI, Stephanie will need to quickly learn how to operate her Pillar mech as she trains alongside the other Pillar Pilot recruits. The Eumarian military is counting on her and the rest of the Galahad Initiative, knowing that the Revenant faction is also developing their own mechs to wage war against humanity.

Kevin March

The Pillar Pilot of the Rabbit mech. A Commander originating from SHARD, Kevin is part of the Galahad Initiative team to evaluate and train the four new Pillar Pilot recruits. Skilled in high mobility mech and aerospace combat, along with his Mech Marine military proficiencies, Kevin is a valuable asset for the Supremacy and the Eumarian forces. Kevin’s AI, named Rabbit, was programmed by SHARD and given to him to allow operation of his mech. The Rabbit AI features a multitude of capabilities that are far more advanced than an ordinary AI. Kevin engaged the Revenant forces on multiple occasions with the Rabbit Pillar before joining the Galahad Initiative team.

Jordan Olds

The commanding officer of the Eumarian warship, Supremacy, with the rank of captain. In addition to her duties as ship’s captain, Jordan supervises the Galahad Initiative project and its team. Before taking command of the Supremacy, Jordan was mentored by Mark Hammond, a well-respected admiral in the Eumarian military. Jordan works closely with her senior officers to assist Eumaria’s military in thwarting Revenant’s assault on the Possibility space elevator.

Dingo Anderson

The Supremacy’s chief engineer and an old friend of Jordan Olds. Dingo looked after Stephanie when she was in flight school following the news about her parents’ deaths in SHARD. Dingo was a good friend of her parents and has always acted as a mentor to Stephanie. He volunteered to join the Galahad Initiative team to be the project’s technological consultant for the development of the Pillar mechs, working closely with Captain Olds and Commander March.

Other Characters Introduced in Mech War For Humanity: The Galahad Initiative

  • Tiana Sparrowhawk: Stephanie’s best friend and one of the Galahad Initiative’s recruits. Tiana is part of lineage of ace pilots in her family who served in Eumaria’s military, including her older sister, Rita. Tiana’s call sign is Bear.
  • Nathan Kazuma: One of the Galahad Initiative’s recruits originating from Elan. Nathan is a Novus who joined the Eumarian military and leads his own squadron of Mech Marines while on the Supremacy. His call sign is Roughcut.
  • Jack Kendrich: One of the Galahad Initiative’s recruits originating from SHARD, with a deep background of weapons and technology. Jack is a weapon’s officer on the Supremacy with the call sign, Noble, after he was assigned to field ops.
  • Michael Hanley: The Supremacy’s first officer. Michael works closely with Captain Olds in tactical and strategic assessment, along with his responsibilities on the Galahad Initiative team.
  • Owen Elson: The Supremacy’s chief medical officer. Besides his medical degree, Owen has work experience in neurology and a deep background in AI research.
  • Deanna West: The Galahad Initiative’s maintenance supervisor. Deanna has a robot dog, Bruno, that she built to assist the team with their research and development.
  • Mark Hammond: An admiral in Eumaria’s Possibility Defense Fleet and Jordan Olds’ mentor. Besides his normal duties in the Eumarian military, Mark is responsible for the Galahad Initiative project but has delegated most of the supervision of its day-to-day operations to the Supremacy’s Captain Olds.
  • JESTR (Joint Evolution Strike Tactical Robot): The Revenant’s clandestine military robot, and pilot of the Destroyer Warfighter mech.
  • November Maier: The Vanquisher’s first officer and pilot of the Chroma Warfighter mech. November is also JESTR’s handler.
  • Kyle Vero: An admiral and leader of the Revenant forces. Kyle waged war against Eumaria and SHARD in order to take control of the Possibility space elevator.
  • Bruce Harper: The Vanquisher’s commanding officer. Bruce defected from the Eumarian military before joining the Revenant rebels with their campaign of liberating humanity.
